APM80950/51 High-Side LED Driver Modules
Allegro's modules feature very low noise and high drive current
Allegro's APM80950/51 LED drivers use a step-down buck regulator topology designed for high-efficiency power conversion. These drivers can drive high-brightness LEDs at a constant current of up to 1.5 A, derived from an input voltage that can range as high as 40 V. LED dimming is controlled via a simple digital PWM input signal or in conjunction with analog dimming to create a very wide dimming range. The maximum output current is set by choosing an appropriate current sense resistor value. The EMI filter, output capacitor, and inductor are all integrated, reducing the number of external components and overall solution footprint.
