High-Frequency Coaxial D38999 Contacts
Amphenol SV Microwave’s contacts allow applications to use the D38999 connectors and the microwave transmission lines
Amphenol SV Microwave’s DC to 40 GHz high-frequency coaxial D38999 contacts include sizes eight, twelve, and sixteen for the D38999 Series III housing and standard inserts. These contacts allow any application to continue to use the D38999 connector and be able to expand the use to include the microwave transmission lines. The high frequencies are maintained by Amphenol’s unique float mount technology designed into the contacts. This technology allows for consistent microwave performance while maintaining tight mechanical tolerances. This consistency provides superior electrical performance and, unlike other blind mate connectors, will maintain an accurate phase length when mated.
