ADI’s ADM3251 and ADM3252 are dual-channel, fully isolated (data and power) RS-232 transceivers. These transceivers use isoPower and iCoupler technology, and have isolated protection up to 2.5 kV. There is one transmit and one receiver channel on the ADM3251 and two transmit and two receiver channels on the ADM3252. They both support data rates of 460 kbps. These devices meet EIA and TIA-232E specifications. The ADM3251 transceiver comes in a SOIC package and has a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The ADM3252 comes in a CSPBGA and also comes in a -40°C to +85°C temperature range. The ADM3251 and ADM3252 are ideal for medical test and measurement equipment, industrial, and telecommunications applications.
