Q2X Series Miniature Sensor

Banner Engineering's Q2X is the next generation of miniature photoelectric sensors. With its compact size and rugged design, the Q2X is ideal for installation in very precise machinery and tight industrial spaces. The small, 8 mm wide housing allows for installation in even the smallest spaces. With proven mounting and connection options, the Q2X’s flexibility caters to the most challenging machine designs.

The exceptional optical performance provides a long detection range, with up to 150 mm of adjustable field sensing and up to 3 meters of opposed mode and retroreflective sensing. The bright, visible LED allows for easy alignment. Narrow beam options provide precise position detection for small objects.

Opposed and retroreflective models are highly effective at detecting dark or reflective objects. In contrast, the adjustable field models provide reliable object detection when the background condition is either fixed or not controlled. Enhanced immunity to ambient lighting and an improved crosstalk immunity algorithm allows the sensor to operate with minimal interference.
