Bel Magnetic Solutions adds the 60 W 4-pair, Power over Ethernet (PoE) Magnetic Modules and MagJack® to its product family. These allow customers to upgrade existing 1GBase-T PoE products to be compliant with NBASE-T and IEEE 802.3bz standards, while still optimizing performance and cost. Customers can implement higher bandwidths of 2.5GBase-T or 5GBase-T solutions with this product while supplying up to 60 W of power over existing Cat 5e and Cat 6 cable infrastructures. These devices can be used in power source equipment (PSE) or powered devices (PD) and are compatible with all major 2.5GBase-T and 5GBase-T PHYs, including the latest current-mode and voltage mode designs.
