Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4-Based Industrial Computer

EDATEC's industrial embedded computer series CM4 is based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. The system can be configured with 1 GB/2 GB/4 GB/8 GB RAM and 8 GB/16 GB/32 GB eMMC to support a range of different applications and can be booted up via an SD card. The unit provides a variety of industrial communication interfaces and functions such as RS232, RS485, high-precision ADC, isolated input, relay control, real-time clock (RTC) with battery backup, and an alarm buzzer. Additionally, the unit has one Ethernet interface with PoE input, one 10/100M port, a 4G/LTE module, external antenna connection, and is certified 2.4G/5.8G dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®. Moreover, the CM4 industrial series supports Raspberry Pi’s 8-megapixel camera with one DSI display port and one HDMI cable port. Onboard 32 Mb serial Flash is used to store system data, and its power supply input accommodates a wide input voltage range. ESD protection is provided for all important interfaces.

Users can add more functions via a PCI-e Gen2 interface, standard 40-pin connector, two 4-pin USB interfaces, a TTL level RS232 interface, etc. to fulfill powerful industrial communication, allowing users to satisfy many industrial requirements.
