Festo’s DPRA series direct interchange round body stainless steel air cylinders are manufactured to meet the specific requirements to suit almost any general-purpose automation application. These air cylinders are readily available with consistently short lead times, cost optimized design, and the flexibility to be modified for special application requirements.
Features
- Low friction Buna-N U-cup piston seals standard
- 303 stainless steel piston rod, ground, polished, and roller burnished
- Oil impregnated sintered bronze rod bearing
- 304 stainless steel cylinder tube, drawn and polished
- Optional polymer end caps for caustic/washdown environments
- Minimal installation space (small diameter)
- Stroke lengths typically less than 12”
- Limited lateral (side) forces on rod
- Less weight
- Reduce costs compared to standard/cylinders
- Simple installation (integrated mounting)
- Nose mount features threaded cap with mounting nut
