RM Series Aluminum Rack-Mount Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing's RM series aluminum cases are suitable for housing a wide range of equipment that is mounted inside 19" racks or as desktop enclosures.

Hammond Manufacturing's 19" family of rack cases are available in 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U, and 5U heights. The fully aluminum construction consists of a heavy-duty extruded frame, removable vented or solid top and bottom covers, optional 19" rack-mount flanges, and self-adhesive rubber feet. The enclosures are finished with a durable textured black powder coat.

The 1U, 2U, and 3U enclosures are available in half-width or full 19" rack-mount width and a depth range of 4.25" to 28". The 4U and 5U enclosures are available in full 19" width and a depth of up to 28". Panel pairs (top and bottom, side and side, and front and rear) are removable and interchangeable, and the flat construction makes machining and screening simple processes.

The RM series enclosures are shipped in knockdown form for easier and safer shipping. Front panel handles that mount to the rack mounting angles are available to assist with the insertion and removal from a rack. To provide greater support for heavy loads, optional rear-mounting brackets are also available.
