ITT Cannon's RPR modular rectangular solution is comprised of shells, plates, inserts, and a proprietary latching mechanism integrated into a lightweight, space-saving design. It is an ARINC 809-compatible interconnect that enables high-speed data transfer, signal integrity, and secure connectivity in commercial aerospace IFE/C and avionics applications. A front-release, rear-removable insert and proprietary latching mechanism make service, repair, and maintenance easier. It uses various sizes of PCB contacts in both straight and right-angle configurations and offers additional accessories for line replaceable unit (LRU) applications.
