Laird Connectivity's BL654 series module is designed to simplify OEM's enablement of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) v5.0 and Thread (802.15.4) to small, portable, power-conscious devices. The BL654 offers engineers considerable design flexibility in both hardware and software programming capabilities. These modules are based on the world-leading Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 chipset. The BL654 modules provide ultra-low power consumption with outstanding wireless range via +8 dBm of transmit power and the Long Range (CODED PHY) Bluetooth 5 feature. The BL654 is programmable via Laird Connectivity’s smartBASIC language or Nordic’s software development kit (SDK)
