PolySwitch is the first small-sized, automotive-specific, 0603 PPTC series from Littelfuse with AEC-Q200 qualification
The Littelfuse PolySwitch has developed the femtoASMDC, an automotive-specific version of their PPTC devices. These products are qualified to AEC-Q200 and certified to ISO/TS16949, the standards for electronic components used in the automotive industry. The key difference between these product families and other protection devices in the Littelfuse circuit protection product portfolio is the qualification process that is followed which includes a series of rigorous tests related to the automotive environment. As a result, they are characterized by specific additional values determined following automotive-related testing.
