DuraClik Connector System
Molex’s expanded line of DuraClik connectors provides space savings and superior performance features compared to competitive versions for high-vibration applications
Molex's DuraClik connectors are available in 2 to 15 circuit sizes. The connectors come standard in embossed tape and without vacuum tape. The DuraClik family is currently available in a right-angle style, with a vertical type in development.
The system is designed for on-board instrumentation applications such as steering wheels that do not require any extra terminal retainers.
The DuraClik system was developed because automotive customers required more robust features that can not be found in most standard signal wire-to-board systems for consumer/data applications.
Features
- Positive lock design has audible click sound and tactile feel when the system locks
- Secure inner-lock system ensures complete connector locking, prevents breakage during handling, and provides space savings over outer-locking systems
- Wide/long end fitting solder nails for grounding and secure PCB retention to meet vibration requirements
- SMT tail protector prevents bent tails
