LS-R3 Series Board Mount AC/DC Converters

Mornsun’s LS-R3 series board mount AC/DC converters can achieve an input voltage range of 85 V_AC to 305 V_AC, which meets the global universal voltage requirements. The LS-R3 series converters have a static power consumption of 0.1 W which meets the six-level energy efficiency and are suitable for many industries with high-power consumption requirements. They work with full load at -40°C, ultra-low temperature environment, and 50% load at +85°C high temperature.

The flyback converter circuit in power supplies is simple and easy to be designed and produced. Engineers may not take potential reliability risks seriously, but according to statistical data, most of the cause of failure in electronic devices is the damage of the power supply. Therefore, the power supply is the key to the entire system’s reliability.

In order to conform to the trend of miniaturization and meet the space requirements of applications, the LS-R3 series removes all redundant designs, optimizes the circuit layout, replaces the terminals, and designs the transformer according to the power section. The result is compact dimensions of 28 mm x 14.73 mm x 11 mm, decreasing size by about 43% compared to previous generations of product.
