Variable Frequency Drive Cables
SAB’s VFD cables are designed to withstand and remove EMI/RFI properly
VFD drives and motors are very common in industrial applications but while very efficient compared to servo motors, they generate noise, such as increases in voltages, making it imperative that the cable is designed to eliminate noise. SAB North America's VFD cables are designed with thicker XLPE insulation, double shielding, oil and chemical-resistant jacket, and more protections. There are many VFD motor manufacturers and each has different requirements for pair sizes for combo VFD cable, and may require a cable with or without a drain wire. The VFD line provides a solution that meets almost all of the market's needs. Solutions include combo cables with an 18 AWG, 16 AWG, or 14 AWG pair as well as two pair options, 4-conductor cables with or without a drain wire, and continuous flexing cable for use in cable track. Symmetrical designs are also available.
