Stewart Connector's modular plugs for specialty cable assemblies are designed to terminate directly to CAT6 and CAT6a applications delivering Gigabit and 10G Base-T Ethernet. This high performance is achieved through an innovative mechanical design featuring a wire aligner and management bar combination that guarantees consistent twisted pair orientation during plug assembly. The wire aligner includes a patent-pending "cross talk zone" where a precise amount of cross talk is introduced to the plug allowing for centered near end cross talk (NEXT) exceeding appropriate TIA-568 and IEC 60603-7 mechanical and electrical CAT6 and CAT6a performance requirements.
