1,200 V SiC MOSFET Evaluation Board
Wolfspeed's board enables users to evaluate 1,200 V silicon carbide MOSFETs and Schottky diodes
Wolfspeed's KIT-CRD-3DD12P evaluation board demonstrates the switching and thermal performance of 1,200 V SiC MOSFETs and Schottky diodes. The board can be configured to run as a buck or boost converter in either synchronous or asynchronous modes. Users can begin testing within minutes of unpackaging the kit.

- Designed to enable measurement of:
- Timing: TDelay-On, TDelay-Off, TRise, and TFall
- Overshoot: VDS-Max and ID-Max
- Speed: di/dt and dv/dt
- Switching loss: EON, EOFF, and ERR
- Efficiency during operation: up to 2.5 kW
- DC input/output voltage: 800 V (max.)
- Power (max.): 2.5 kW at 100 kHz (limited by the onboard inductor, higher levels are possible with an alternate inductor)
- Compatible with TO-247-4 and TO-247-3 SiC MOSFETs
- Compatible with TO-247 and TO-220 SiC Schottky diodes
- Dedicated gate drivers and isolated power supplies for each SiC MOSFET
- Optimized locations for scope probe measurements of drain current (VGS, VDS, and IS)
- Synchronous and asynchronous buck and boost topologies supported
