The 3M™ Power Clamp Branch Connector Type Y divides one input line into two output lines. The Type Y (or 2 to 1) connector shown here can be connected to a 1-row type board mount header. In CC-link, this connector is used as a transfer line. The one-touch lock mechanism helps ensure that once mated, both sides of the two part connector system remain in contact during use, even in high vibration environments, yet requires only one hand to disconnect the cable assembly.
