The 3M Twin Axial Cable Assembly can transform the management of connecting cable wiring harnesses inside the equipment. In this simulation of a 1U format storage server, the cable assembly from 3M connects the motherboard PCIe slot to the I/O card, and another links to the SAS expander card. In both cases, the flat cable has been folded to make better use of available space in the devices and reduce the obstruction to cooling airflow.
