ATS’ standard offerings of clipKIT™ assemblies are available for 16 different component base sizes from 15 x 15mm to 45 x 45mm, the same sizes as the most widely used BGA packages. Custom options are available through ATS’ design services. Clips and heat sink can be custom designed to different sizes to address varied design requirements. More so, the design allows for the oversized heat sinks to be placed on top of the component to meet the stringent thermal requirement.
