Fisheye correction is a unique image processing algorithm that Intel® originally developed for the automotive backup camera market. However, this same IP can be used in surveillance applications as well. A big benefit of this solution is the ability to use a single camera with a large field of view (e.g. to monitor an entire storefront), without image distortion.
