The LUSB series is not an IP67 rated connector but what makes this connector part of the Amphenol’s Harsh Environment product family is the latching mechanism. This latching mechanism prevents the unintentional interruption of data transmission. Accidental pull of up to 22 lbs. of force on the mating cable will not separate the connectors. These are available in both the USB 2.0 and 3.0 Type A in right angle terminations.
