The Amphenol AT line is put through an industry standard HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) to ensure its construction can handle extreme conditions. The HALT test is a simulated connector life cycle test compressed into a 1 month process of extreme heat step stress (150°C / 302°F), cold step stress (-93°C / -135°F), vibration step stress, rapid thermal cycling, and combined thermal cycling with vibration.
