Shown here is the lab data using a pair of HMC1048 mixers as the I and Q mixers. The LO was provided by a pair of ADF4355 PLLs and a pair of HMC451 RF amplifiers were used as LO buffers. With a single mixer in a traditional signal chain, the IF resulting from the UI was measured at ~ -12 dBm (see the peak of the curve above). At 90 degrees of phase shift between the I and Q LO sources, the IF resulting from the UI was measured at ~ -38 dBm, so an image rejection of about 26 dB.
