This slide highlights some of the features of the ADM3251E. It is a single-channel RS-232 transceiver with a high data rate of 460kps, and ESD protection up to 15kV. This transceiver has an isolation rating of 2.5 kV and a transient immunity (common-mode rejection) rating of > 25 kV/μs. It also meets the EIA-232E specifications as well as the ITU-T V.28 standard. It is available in a 20-pin wide body SOIC package and has an operating temperature of −40°C to +85°C.
