This slide illustrates how PSoC 4000 stacks-up against other low-cost competitors, specifically, with the respect to the capacitive sensing application. The points to observe are the following: the PSoC 4000 has Cortex-M0, features sixteen capacitive sensing channels, and SmartSense auto-tuning, liquid tolerance, and proximity sensing capabilities, offering a per channel current of 5 µA. Another point is that the PSoC 4000 has a wide operating voltage range of 1.7 V to 5.5 V.
