The SmartBond family of Bluetooth low energy SoC’s from Renesas currently has five members split between four, DA1458 series devices and the new DA14680 device. The DA1458 family suits a wide range of different applications whilst the DA14680 is a high performance device optimized for wearables. This presentation focuses on the use of SmartBond for use cases in positioning and proximity estimation.
