Look closely on the interface board, one will notice a jumper labeled ‘loop back’. In the image shown here, the engineer has shortened the jumper for use in doing a transparent mode loop back test. If the customer uses this jumper, be sure to un-jumper it once one starts using the module normally. Otherwise, the XBee’s will seem to connect, but they will not be functioning properly.
