With right angle switches, the actuator is at a right angle to the PCB surface (ex A and B). C and D fit either a thru-hole style or SMT style terminal. An edge mount switch (E) is also a right angle switch, however, it is recommended for product designs that require access from the edge of a PCB. This helps to reduce the overall package height.
