Pictured here is the system efficiency of a 12V input to 1.2V output buck converter using the 30 V EPC2100. At 500kHz the peak efficiency reaches a record-making 93%. The system clocks in at over 91% at 1MHz. Since these half bridges were built for speed, this presentation will look at even higher frequencies.
