The Epcos Transponder Coil product range consists of four main families covering three major application areas. These include: chip coil which is in the 1210 and 1812 EIA package sizes, the X/Y transponder coils in 8 and 11mm lengths, the Z transponder coil with a 7.7 x 7.5 x 3.5mm footprint and the 3D transponder coil for ultrahigh sensitivity. Major applications include but are not limited to Passive Entry/Passive Start (PEPS), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Vehicle Immobilizer.
