The DF12 series is a 0.5mm pitch board-to-board connector that has several height variations and many pin counts available. It can also be configured with or without metal fittings and guide pins. The metal fittings increase the connector’s retention force to the PCB and are soldered at the same time the SMT leads are soldered. The boss or guide pins help keep the connector on the solder pads while going through the soldering process.
