Both the EM2260 and EM2280 operate from a 4.5 V to 16 V input range, with 5 V and 12 V being more commonly used input voltages to the system. Shown here are the efficiency curves for the EM2280. Efficiency can be as high as 91% depending on the input and output conditions. For a typical FPGA or processor core voltage of 0.9 V, efficiency can run approximately 88%. Similarly, the EM2260 can operate at efficiencies >90%.
