Welcome to the Johanson Dielectrics Introduction to X2Y® Capacitors training module. In this module, the X2Y® Capacitor structure will be explained and compared to ordinary 2-terminal MLCCs. Several subjects will be highlighted including the structural benefits of X2Y® Capacitors that work to provide superior, low ESL decoupling performance, and balanced EMI Filtering when these devices are applied in a circuit.
