Another important feature of the Organic Polymer product is its non-ignition failure mode. As shown in this picture, both the standard MnO2 and Organic Polymer Tantalum devices were pushed to quick failures with unrestricted current and reverse bias. There is no flameout or ignition with the Polymer devices.
