The basic principle of make type is shown on this slide. Make type was developed with a focus on a magnetic circuit configuration that maintains off at all times below the Curie temperature. As a result, it has a normally closed and normally open contact configuration, making it possible to switch the operation of a contact off and on at a certain operating temperature.
