This example shows how the TBW can be calculated. Assuming a WAF of eight, for a 4 Gigabyte (GB) device, the engineer can write a total of 1.5 TeraBytes (TB) of data over the life of the product. Once this limit is reached, the eMMC will be in an end-of-life state. At this point, the device data integrity is reduced.
