LEM’s proprietary ASIC design provides improved open-loop performance while also offsetting cost. Each HOYS or HOYL is calibrated over temperature, with the offset and gain correction stored within the device. The ASIC also includes the over-current detection (OCD) output to indicate the primary current is outside of the measuring range.
