With LUXEON C, customers can say goodbye forever to the dreaded halo effect when color mixing. In this example, two wall-washers have been designed, one with LUXEON C and one with its closest competitor. Because LUXEON C LEDs have a consistent focal length, there is no halo effect when color mixing. With competitive parts, due a difference in focal length of their red LEDs, an unpleasant red halo can be seen, especially when the tunable fixture is outputting white light.
