The UV LED market is growing 40% per year with a number of applications it already serves. LUXEON UV is well positioned for W/cm2 markets such as curing and spectroscopy as well as general applications such as specialty lighting. A number of new applications will emerge as scientific and chemistries advance. Other existing UV markets will shift from mercury peak of 365 nm to 380+nm by changes in application photo-chemistries.
