The KMA36 has a rotational measurement range of 180°/360° absolute or incremental, and an unlimited incremental linear measurement range. It operates from 3.0 to 5.5 VDC and requires a typical sleep current of 1.2 mA. It features PWM and I2C interfaces and has data transfer rates to 100 kHz. The sensor is not affected by dirt or debris. A development board is offered and magnets are available from several suppliers at low cost.
