Nichicon’s material, Lithium Titanate, gives the SLB a material stability that does not burn. It has a low reactivity with the electrolyte which translates into low heat generation. The SLB contains a material with low electron conductivity, which means that only a small amount of current will be generated when a short occurs between the positive and negative electrode. This makes the SLB safe and reliable.
