NorComp’s solder cup connectors are supplied with pre-loaded contacts. As in the crimp and load connectors, the contacts are available in both stamped/formed and machined. Termination to these connectors can be somewhat labor intensive, as wires have to be stripped and soldered by hand to the contacts. They are ideal for low volume and prototype /design development, as they do not require the purchase of any special termination equipment/tooling.
