The LS1012A is ideally suited for this application with high performance interfaces for network connective supporting either 1 GE or 2.5 GE on the Ethernet interfaces and USB 3.0 for 5Gbps of throughput and SATA 3.0 for interfacing to Hard Drives or Solid State Drives. The LS1012A also has a high-performance Security engine which can enable hardware support for Encrypted Drives.
