Like all of Omnetics' micro and nano miniature products, the Micro-D’s performance also starts up-front with the contact system. Micro-D connectors use Omnetics' flex pin contact system plated with both nickel and gold that assures the highest quality for mating and de-mating, as well as very low contact resistance. Pins and sockets are set at 0.05” center-to-center distances. Omnetics’ trusted military-qualified flex pin contacts are capable of over 2,000 mating cycles.
