There are many different selection criteria when selecting a limit switch. The first question to ask is this a general limit switch, a safety limit switch or a basic limit switch? From there, what are the constraints of the application? How much size is available to fit the switch? Are there any environmental concerns? What voltage and amperage does the application need to accommodate? Last, how many circuits are being controlled with the limit switch?
