In order to increase efficiency, the trend of power inverters is to increase in size. Rather than having a single solar panel array connected to its own inverter, designs are now incorporating up to 3 solar panel arrays to connect to a signal inverter. In order to keep up with this trend, the demand for relays with a higher load switching current is necessary. Panasonic’s solution for this would be the HE PV type relays that will be introduced next.
