This is a typical control component combination design: The actuator is inserted into the front panel and fastened. From the back side, the associated switching element is usually connected or clipped to the actuator via a coupling with the equipped contact elements. The mounting depth of this combination is between 40 and 70 mm. From this point onwards, the electric wiring can be performed by the assembly technician. That is the conventional process.
