The advantages of these MOSFETs include: the same land pattern as standard D-PAK packages, but with a higher rated current; lower RDS(on); and lower heat generation. The circuit examples shown here illustrate a couple of applications (an LCD inverter and a motor drive) for which these devices would be an ideal solution.
