Rohm performed an evaluation to mount PMDTM package onto the recommended land pattern for PMDS package. The land pattern is larger than the PMDTM terminals. Thus, Rohm considers the risk for soldering strength due to insufficient junction to be low. However, with a larger land area under the product, the part may have co-planarity affect during assembly.
