The MediaGauge digital pressure gauges use stainless steel diaphragms to media isolate the piezoresistive sensing element. The electrical output from the sensing element is proportional to the input pressure applied to the diaphragm. Signal conditioning circuitry inside the MediaGauge compensates for temperature and calibration. The end result is that the MediaGauge MG-9V and MG-MD models have a high accuracy of +/-0.25 % full scale independent of who reads the gauge.
